BOLAND TREKKING CHALLENGE

We begin in the Winelands near Stellenbosh and hike up into the mountains with spectacular views over the sea to Cape Town and Table Mountain in the distance. Each days' hike is about 15 to 20 km with some steep inclines. (distances can be adjusted to suit most groups). Sleeping in mountain huts under the clearly visible Milky Way is rustic and peaceful and allows for a continuous hut- to -hut route through the pristine fynbos with beautiful mountain streams, valleys, birds, buck, baboons, dassies and more.

We end our hike in Franshoek with a chance to savour the fruits of the vine before heading off for a celebratory dinner, followed by a day of leisure in Cape Town. A full day hiking up Table Mountain can also be included in this itinerary either before or after.
