Whale Watching Tour With Bicycles

(July to November)
Tues, Fri & Sun - R750.00

Whale Watching - Cape TownWe drive 130km along the scenic coastal route, via Betty's Bay, to the popular breeding ground in Hermanus, where it is not unusual to see whales as close as 20m from the rocks. Enjoy a picnic lunch while you observe the antics of newborn calves and the sheer size of these magnificent mammals. For wider viewing and a little exercise you can choose to cycle along the coastal road and smell the fresh sea air. We return home on the inland route via Sir Lowry's Pass with stunning views across False Bay to Table Mountain in the distance.

Cycling and Whale Watching - South Africa En route home we will pop in at Beaumont wine farm for a warming wine tasting* to cap the day (subject to availability).

You will need:

  • Comfortable walking shoes
  • A sweater/windbreaker
  • Sunscreen (For summer time... SPF 30+)

*NOTE: On some occasions, due to various circumstances, the wine tasting may not be possible.
